Hotel Grand Godwin - Near New Delhi Railway Station - Paharganj

When I was searching for a place to stay in Delhi, I spent more than 10 hours reading reviews of different hotels to find a place I liked. And, to be honest, I won! If I ever go back to Delhi at some point in my life, I would definitely return to the Grand Godwin Hotel. If you're traveling to Delhi, it's important to set your expectations properly! The hotel, highly rated and situated in a central location in Delhi, boasts very good staff and clean rooms. Safe family hotel and trustworthy; the room looks exactly like the image. also very polite and caring cleaning staff, as well as the service staff at the door. They do clean every day, but naturally, you need to vacate the room for this. Also, try not to fuss over any stains on the bedsheet, they are indeed washed and you can tell from the fresh scent of cleaning products. Don't be picky about a crack in the wooden door! You're traveling to a very humid zone of the earth. Very comfortable beds! I loved it. Of course, there's traffic on the roads, but this means you are close to the attractions of Delhi! There is a restaurant in front of the hotel with very tasty food! Although I am a meat-arian, the vegetarian food there is amazing. I already miss it.

Attentive staff, from reception to doorman to maintenance, everybody has been friendly and accomodating. They even arranged a secret birthday cake for my friend's birthday. The room is decent, cleaner than most places in India, but don't expect western standards of cleanliness. Location near the railway station and airport metro station is convenient. I liked stepping outside for a cigarette on the street and talking to the doorman and watch life go buy in the ever busy neighborhood of Pahar Ganj.

Very interesting location of the city centre . Very lively atmosphere, I bet you will love it!! The restaurant is just thee best I had in my entire stay in India . I would highly suggest that this hotel was by far the best one !! Hasan helped me organise a car for Agra Jaipur Jodhpur Udaipur and I even did a safari at Ranthambore where I did tiger sightings which was one of the highlights of my tour . Really knowledgeable staff highly appreciated

Bang on location for all parts . Very easy to commute from there . Their taxis are very clean and comfortable because market taxis are worn out they are well maintained and offer good service. Will repeat my stay here for future

Location was near to all shopping,transport etc. However, was very conjusted and noisy street, hotel staff and security were very kind and helpful, overall good.
